Vietnam’s sports delegation heading for 2012 London Olympics

This is the frist time Vietnam has ever earned 18 official tickets for 11 events, including five popular games such as swimming, gymnastics, shooting, track-and-field, and weight-lifting.

Judo athlete Van Ngoc Tu

Lam Quang Thanh, head of the Vietnamese sports delegation, says young judoka Van Ngoc Tu is considered to be the most hopeful in the women’s 48kg category.

Other local athletes, who are training abroad, will be arriving in London soon.
