Vietnamese youth ranks 8th at prestigious Tchaikovsky competition

VOV.VN - The Vietnam News Agency reported today (June 27) that a young Vietnamese violinist ranked 8th at the prestigious International Tchaikovsky Competition for Young Musicians in Moscow.

At the competition, the jury picked finalists in four categories – piano, cello, violin and voice. The winners received medals and prizes.

Le Quang Tien, 15, won the eighth-place in the violin category and received an additional prize for the best young artist performing contemporary works.
