Vietnamese students participate in Asia Culture Week

(VOV) - The Russian capital has hosted an Asian Culture Week from December 11 to 14, attracting the participation of hundreds of Asian students, including from Vietnam.

​A variety of cultural products were on display, introducing the people and landscapes of Asian countries including Thailand, Cambodia, India, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Iran, the Republic of Korea, China, and Vietnam.

Vietnamese stall attracts visitors
Quach Dinh Tho, a graduate student, explained the Vietnamese stall encompasses each of Vietnam's northern, southern, and central regions.
Foreign students are very fond of the Vietnamese Ao Dai (iconic long dress) and palm-leaf conical hat
Olga Vaxilievna, a Russian teacher, said the event helped her understand more about Vietnam's culture and people. She also enjoyed trying on an Ao Dai.
The event is a good chance for students to exchange experiences and discover the diversity of Asian cultures
The week concluded with an art performance by Asian students.
