Vietnamese stage play selected for Busan Theatre Festival
VOV.VN - A stage play by the Ho Chi Minh City Theatre Association will participate in the 43rd Busan Theatre Festival scheduled to take place from April 3 to 20 in the Republic of Korea (RoK), according to the municipal Theatre Association.

"Đồng chí" (Comrade) revolves around the soldiers of Vietnam, spanning from wartime to peacetime. In the past, during the struggle for national independence and freedom, young men joining the army fought together in the same unit, sharing a common goal and an unwavering desire for peace and prosperity for their people.
Even after the war ended, these comrades remained closely bonded. Whenever possible, they would reunite to reminisce about their experiences and memories of a devastating but heroic time.
The show, that originally debuted on stage in Ho Chi Minh City on September 27, 2024, will be staged in Busan on April 5-6 during the 43rd Theatre Festival. This will be the only foreign representative during the festival.
With the theme of “Busan, a city where young people can create theater, and a city where citizens can enjoy theater,” the festival will feature a total of 24 performances and 14 sidelines events at several venues throughout Busan.
