His entry “Sheep Farming Of the Cham People” was taken in Bac Ai district in the northwest of Ninh Thuan province where the Cham and Raglai ethnic people reside. The photo depicts a scene of a Cham woman in traditional costumes taking care of her flock of sheep.
Furthermore, his piece “Hand Of Ripe Rice Season” was given the Highly Commended award in the Food In The Field category. Being photographed in Mu Cang Chai district, northern Vietnam, the photo depicts a scene of a woman carrying her child on her back whilst walking among golden terraced fields.
Nhan was the only Vietnamese photographer winning a prize this year.

He was also honoured in many photo contests around the world, including the Epson International Pano Awards in 2021, 2022, and 2023.
Launched in 2011, the Pink Lady photo contest is open to both professional and non-professional photographers worldwide. Since 2011, over 80,000 images and films have been submitted from 96 countries.
This year's contest attracted more than 10,500 works from 70 countries and territories globally. First prize went to "Red Bean Paste Balls" by Chinese photographer Zhonghua Yang.
