Vietnamese film festival opens in New Delhi

VOV.VN - A film festival has opened at the legendary India Habitat Centre in New Delhi, highlighting the best in Vietnamese cinema, past and present, reports the Vietnam News Agency.

Vietnam Ambassador to India Ton Sinh Thanh delivered a keynote speech at the opening ceremony, which is being staged concurrently with a Vietnamese photography and art performance at the Centre and many other locations throughout India.

The 7-day event boasts exclusive screenings of classics, world premieres and Q&A sessions that is sure to delight cinephiles and features exclusively Vietnamese cultural documentaries, feature films and shorts.

The films include Cuoc Doi Cua Yen (Yen’s Life) directed by Dinh Tuan Vu, Bao Gio Cho Den Thang Muoi (When Will October Come) directed by Dang Nhat Minh, and Canh Dong Hoang (Wild Rice Field) directed by Hong Sen Nguyen.
