Vietnamese emcee vies for Mister Tourism World 2023

VOV.VN - Emcee and model Nguyen Quoc Tri departed for Brazil on November 27 to compete for a title at the upcoming Mister Tourism World 2023 male pageant.

The Vietnamese representative brought with him separate pieces of luggage weighing a total of 60 kg. Among them is a 25-kg outfit that Quoc Tri has prepared specifically for the national costume sub-contest.

The man, 28, stands at 1.80 metres tall and weighs 70kg. He is now working as an emcee at Ho Chi Minh City Television (HTV), a model and an actor.

The Mister Tourism World pageant was first held in 2016 and has since developed into one of the most famous male pageants around the globe, alongside the likes of Manhunt International, Mister World, Mister International, Mister Global, and Mister Supranational.

Vietnamese representative Pham Xuan Hien was named the winner of the 2016 contest. Last year Phung Phuoc Thinh finished as the fifth runner-up of the 2022 pageant.

The seventh Mister Tourism World will get underway in Brazil from November 29 to December 6, drawing the participation of contestants from 40 countries and territories worldwide. Its grand finale will be organised on December 3.
