Vietnamese culture introduced at Bagnara ethnic culture festival
VOV.VN - Vietnamese culture and food left a positive impression on international friends at the 16th Bagnara ethnic culture festival, which was held from June 27 to June 30 in Italy's Emilia-Romagna region.
This year's edition featured stalls from 23 countries, attracting thousands of visitors. The Vietnamese pavilion was prepared by members of the Vietnam-Italy Cultural Bridge Association.
Furthermore, a photo exhibition on Vietnamese landscapes and people, along with a space set up to display national costumes, musical instruments such as gongs and drums were also presented, thereby helping visitors to gain a greater understanding about the Southeast Asian country.
Through the platform given by the various versions of the festival, Vietnamese culture and cuisine have become familiar to both Italians and foreigners living in the Emilie Romangne region.
Previously, Vietnam won first prize in the culinary competitions during the 2016, 2018, 2021, and 2022 festivals, going to local dishes such as nem rán (fried spring rolls), nem lụi (grilled pork paste), nem chay (vegetarian spring rolls), and Bánh Xèo (a crispy Vietnamese pancake filled with pork).
