Vietnamese cultural festival in Russia begins June 4
VOV.VN - A large-scale Vietnamese cultural festival featuring art performances, several exhibitions and a wide array of other events will begin in Russia on June 4, reports the Embassy of Vietnam in Moscow.
A cultural and art show performed by dozens of veteran and young Vietnamese artists will highlight the nine-day extravaganza on June 7 at the Hanoi-Moscow Culture and Commerce Centre.
Two days later, an encore performance will take place in Volgograd City.
Notably, the Vietnam Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and Ministry of Culture will stage a silk painting exhibition during the event in both cities introducing all aspects of the technique as it is practiced in Vietnam and how that differs from other Asian nations.
