Vietnamese contestant finishes fourth at Miss Global 2023
VOV.VN - Doan Thu Thuy, the Vietnamese representative to Miss Global 2023, won the fourth runner-up title in the grand final of the competition held in Cambodia on January 18 evening.
She became the Vietnamese contestant to have recorded the highest achievement in the pageant's history.
Doan Thu Thuy, 28, stands at 1.73 metres tall, weighs 56kg with body measurement of 85-62-95, and now works as a model and a fitness coach.
She was crowned 2022 Miss Fitness Vietnam and went on to represent Vietnam at Miss Global 2023.
First held in 2013, Miss Global has gradually gained its fame globally, accepting contestants from 18 to 35 years old. The 2023 contest, the 10th of its kind, saw the participation of 70 beauties worldwide.
The 2023 contest’s main activities were held in Vietnam, including the semi-final night in Phu Quoc on January 13.
Ashley Melendez from Puerto Rico was crowned Miss Global 2023. Contestants from Samoa, Thailand, the Philippines, and Vietnam were awarded the first, second, third, and fourth runners-up titles, respectively.
