Vietnamese comedy show goes overseas
A special comedy show by some of Vietnam's leading comedians was recently filmed at a convention center in Prague, the capital of the Czech Republic.
This show, “Gala of Laughs” is very popular in Vietnam and was held in Europe this year under the title “European Gala 2012”. This is the first time this event has been held overseas with consultation from a foreign expert.
The show was hosted by Thao Van and featured popular Vietnamese comedians such as Xuan Bac, Van Dung, Quang Thang and Tu Long from Hanoi, and Hong Van, Thanh Duy, Thuy Nga and Anh Vu from HCM City.

The Vietnamese comedians presented several short comedies, such as “Miss Globa” by Thuy Nga, Thanh Duy and Minh Dung, “Lan’s Love Story” and “Daylight Thief” by Van Dung, Quang Thang and Tu Long, and “Ms. Thi Mau” by Hong Van, Thanh Duy, Thuy Nga and Anh Vu.
The show also included singers Thu Minh and Tung Duong, and it will be broadcast on VTV3 at 9pm on January 24.
