Vietnamese blockbuster Hijacked set for release in RoK
VOV.VN - Vietnamese action film Tử Chiến Trên Không (Hijacked), a major box-office success that grossed more than VND251.9 billion in 2025 in Vietnam, is set for release in the Republic of Korea (RoK) on March 18, 2026.
The release marks a notable development for Vietnamese cinema as the film enters a competitive market. Actor Thanh Son confirmed the date on his social media page, attracting major attention.
Speaking about his role, Thanh Son expressed excitement about the film’s international release and said it features tense confrontations between a flight crew and a group of hijackers led by the character Long.
The film features a cast including Thai Hoa, Kaity Nguyen, Thanh Son and Loi Tran.
The character Long, the leader of the hijackers, is a central figure in the film’s high-intensity action sequences.
