Vietnamese beauty queens vie for Miss Universe through years
VOV.VN - Vietnam has sent 11 beauties over the years to compete at the Miss Universe beauty pageant, including Thuy Lam and H’Hen Nie in Top 15 and Top 5 this year, respectively.

| Hoang Khanh Ngoc was the winner of the Vietnam Supermodel contest and represented Vietnam at Miss Universe 2004. The 19-year-old girl is 1.81 meters tall and had an impressive performance on the world stage. She came first in the Best Catwalk sub-contest. |

| Pham Thu Hang competed at Miss Universe 2005. She is 1.77 meters tall and measures 86-62-96. She unfortunately didn’t win any title at the pageant. |

| Thuy Lam was crowned Miss Universe Vietnam 2008 and finished in Top 15 at the Miss Universe 2008 pageant which was held in Vietnam. She is 1.71 meters tall and measures 85-62-89. In the world pageant Lam was also listed in the Top 10 national costume segment and Top 5 Ao Dai segment. |

| Vo Hoang Yen was the first runner-up of Miss Universe 2008 and contended for Miss Universe 2009, however she left the pageant empty handed. |

| Vu Thi Hoang My from Dong Nai Province was the first runner-up of Miss Vietnam 2010. Previously she represented Vietnam in the two of the biggest beauty contests in the world, including Miss Universe 2011 and Miss World 2012, but she did not acquire any title. |

| Diem Huong was crowned Miss World Vietnam 2010. She is 1.71 meters tall and measures 84-61-92. She was named in Top 14 finalists at Miss Earth 2010. Two years later she went to Miss Universe 2012 however she unsuccessful in claiming any title. |

| Le Hang came home empty handed from Miss Universe 2016 in the Philippines. She is 1.73 meters tall and measures 81-64-89. |
