Vietnamese beauty and culture to be introduced in the US

VOV.VN - Vietnam’s landscapes, people, culture, and music will be introduced at the Vegas LVIII Pregame Warm Up and Tet Celebration in Las Vegas, USA.

The much awaited programme, to be co-hosted by Vietnamese songwriter Nguyen Hai Phong and director Nguyen Hieu Tam, and Rocket Buffalo, is due to open on February 9, 2024.

This will be a warmup event for Super Bowl LVIII, the American football championship game for the 2023 NFL season which is scheduled to take place on February 11, 2024.

As the event and Vietnam’s Lunar New Year (Tet) holiday will take place concurrently, for the first time Vietnamese cultural identity will be introduced at the Vegas LVIII Pregame Warm Up to honour the beauty and people of Vietnam.

A number of Vietnamese artists and rappers, including De Choat, Blacka, LangLD, SMO, Voltalk, Mikelodic, Lil Wyn, RIC, Thai VG, Kwin, and Kwzzzy, will travel to the US for the show.

Furthermore, a Vietnamese Ao Dai collection designed by Tuan Hai is expected to be introduced as part of the event.

The artists’ presence at the tailgate party will serve to cheer the Vietnamese community in the US and help them to immerse themselves in the atmosphere of the American sporting game and the Tet holiday.

Earlier, singer Tuan Hung became the first Vietnamese artist to announce his participation in Super Bowl 2024 as a pre-show performer. He confirmed his invitation to the Super Bowl Pregame Warm-Up on his Facebook account back in September.

For many years, the Super Bowl has been one of the most-viewed sporting events in the world and is an important part of American culture. The Super Bowl warmup and halftime shows often garner great traction and typically trend online.
