Vietnamese-American Peter Do nominated for CFDA Award
VOV.VN - Vietnamese-American Peter Do has been nominated for CFDA Award in Womenswear Designer of the Year category.

He has been nominated along with a number of other renowned foreign designers and fashion brands, including Marc Jacobs, Telfar Clemens, Gabriela Hearst, Christopher John Rogers, and Thom Browne.
The Vietnamese-American designer is well-known for his inspired and minimalist take on professional wear.
Originally born in Bien Hoa City in the northern province of Dong Nai, Peter Do immigrated to the suburbs of Philadelphia at the age of 14. He went on to study Fashion Design at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City and became the recipient of the inaugural 2014 LVMH Graduate Prize. He later worked in the RTW atelier at Céline and then at Derek Lam.
Since then, Peter Do has gained an increasingly large profile with retailers globally.
The Council of Fashion Designers of America, Inc. (CFDA) is a non-profit trade association founded in 1962 whose membership consists of 477 of America’s foremost womenswear, menswear, jewelry, and accessory designers.
The primary mission of the CFDA is to strengthen the impact of American fashion in the global economy.
