Vietnam wins 64th gold medal at SEA Games
Wrestler Ha Van Hieu brought home the 64th gold medal for Vietnam after claiming victory in the men’s 120kg category on November 17 at the ongoing 26th SEA Games in Indonesia.
With the latest gold medal, Vietnam remained second in the medal tally with 64 gold, 56 silver and 60 bronze medals, or nine more golds compared to Thailand, which had previously secured Vietnam’s current place.
The host country, Indonesia, still took the lead with 93 gold, 69 silver and 72 bronze medals, and is likely to be atop the medal tally through the end of the Games.
