Vietnam-US friendship concert of famous classical works
VOV.VN - Ho Chi Minh City Ballet Symphony Orchestra and Opera announced on October 24 that a Vietnam-US friendship concert will take place at the Saigon Opera House on October 29.

The ensemble includes violinist Vu Viet Chuong who returns home from the US, and the renowned American conductor Hector Guzman.
The night of music will get underway with a performance of ‘Overture’ (From the Opera 'Candide’), which is adapted from the literary works of the French author Voltaire, this will be followed by the soundtracks of ‘Schindler's List’, ‘Memoirs of a Geisha", and "Scent of a Woman" as composed by John Williams.
Conductor Hector Guzman and the symphony orchestra from the Ho Chi Minh City Ballet Symphony Orchestra and Opera will perform masterpieces by famous Russian composer Sergei Rachmaninov.
The event is co-organised by the HCM City Ballet Symphony Orchestra and Opera, Ho Chi Minh City Union of Friendship Organizations, and Vietnam-US Friendship Association in HCM City.
