Vietnam to host ASEAN friendship beauty contest
The south central coastal province of Phu Yen will host the Miss Friendship of ASEAN this year, as announced by the organising board at a press conference on March 21.

Each member state will send its representatives to the competition, which has accepted registration from March 15. In Vietnam, the eligible candidates must previously win one of the top three titles at a national beauty contest.
Three outstanding contestants of each country will be selected for the final, scheduled to begin on June 1.
The finale will be held on July 1. The winner will take part in various international cultural exchanges to promote ASEAN tourism.
