Vietnam to attend Paris Tropical Carnival
(VOV) - Vietnam is one of the five countries which have been invited to the 12th Paris Tropical Carnival due to take place on July 6.
The Vietnamese delegation will join a 4.5km parade with other foreign guests and French nationals to present art performances at four places

Among them are members of the Vietnam Youth Association (UJVF) and the Vietnam Students Association (UEVF) in France.
French stage director Jean Marie Lejude will direct Vietnamese performances which feature Vietnam’s traditional and modern life with women either shouldering a heavy load in bamboo frames or riding motorbike in Hanoi streets.

The highlights of the carnival will include a lotus-shaped vehicle carrying Miss Xuan 2012 Vo Hong Quan casting as Queen and also a choir leader.
The event is expected to attract around 4,000 artists and 200,000 visitors.
