Vietnam Supermodel 2019 contest launched

VOV.VN - The preliminary round of the Vietnam Supermodel 2019 contest is scheduled to begin in Ho Chi Minh City on August 9 with a number of celebrities joining the judging panel including Ngoc Tinh, Mister Manhunt International 2017, Khanh Ngan, Miss Globe 2017, and supermodel Duc Hai.

Truong Thi May, a former runner up in the Miss Ethnic Vietnam beauty pageant, is set to serve as a judge for the competition. The contest is open to contestants from across the country, with men required to be at least 1.70 metres tall and women required to be at least 1.65 metres tall.
Ngoc Tinh, the winner of Vietnam Supermodel 2010 and Mister Manhunt International 2017, has been announced as a judge for the contest. Contestants will have to choose their outfits in the preliminary round, with swimsuits and other daily outfits for women, and sportswear for men.
Supermodel and actor Duc Hai has plenty of experience judging beauty contests. The final round of the Vietnam Supermodel 2019 contest is set to take place in September, with episodes to be broadcast on television channels as a reality television show.
Miss Globe 2017 Khanh Ngan has been named among the judging panel.
Model training expert Phuc Nguyen is also among the judges.
Whilst Lily Nguyen, one of the finalists from The Face Vietnam reality television show, will also be taking part.
