Vietnam play Thailand at ASEAN women’s football contest
Defending champions Vietnam are in Group A together with arch rivals Thailand for the ASEAN Women’s Football Championships which will be held in Mandalay City, Myanmar, from September 9-22.
Malaysia, Australia U19s and Jordan make up the rest of the group.
Group B features Japan U23s, Laos, the Philippines, Indonesia and the hosts Myanmar.
Australia, Japan and Jordan have been invited to compete this year, hoping to improve the quality of the regional tournament.
