Vietnam offers perfect locations for movies
Vietnam is gifted with rich and diversified natural landscape. But it’s only when the movie “Toi Thay Hoa Vang Tren Co Xanh” (or I See Yellow Flowers on the Green Grass) hit the screen that movie fans were amazed how beautiful the Phu Yen peaceful countryside is.
It is noteworthy that many of the natural landscapes appeared in the film are not unfamiliar to many Vietnamese people.
If the movie “I See Yellow Flowers on the Green Grass” is made for domestic audiences, “Kong: Skull Island” brings Vietnam’s stunning nature to the world.
The country’s biggest prides such as Ha Long Bay in Quang Ninh province, Trang An scenic landscape complex in Ninh Binh province and colossal caves in Quang Binh province were all chosen to be key backgrounds for the Hollywood’s blockbluster.
Director Jordan Charles Vogt-Roberts said Vietnam’s primordial landscape provided the “perfect aesthetic” for his movie.
It can be said that a proper investment into background will be a hot trend among Vietnam’s film-makers in the coming years. And the country’s tourism sector is expected to reap benefits from the movies industry in the time to come.
