“Vietnam now” exhibition in Hong Kong
An exhibition called “Vietnam now” by the country’s most six outstanding artists will be held at The Rotunda, Exchange Square, Hong Kong from August 24 to September 9.
On display will be oil paintings, silk paintings, bronze sculptures, 3D photography, contemporary calligraphy and performance.
“Vietnam now” portrays a country on the move, in great transition, paying homage to the past, living in the present and looking into the future.
How to modernize without losing one’s tradition and culture-a challenge for Vietnamese of all ages and from all walks of life is clearly demonstrated in the works.
