Vietnam-Korea Friendship Cultural festival returns to Ho Chi Minh City
VOV.VN - Ho Chi Minh City is set to host the 2025 Vietnam–Korea Friendship Cultural Festival from July 26 to 27 on Le Loi Street, celebrating strong cross-cultural ties between the two countries.

Now in its fourth year, the event is jointly organised by the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Vietnam, the Korean Cultural Center, and partners including the Korea Tourism Organization. Following last year’s record turnout of over 20,000 attendees, this year’s festival promises an even more vibrant experience.
The programme will feature performances by popular V-pop artists such as CONGB (Nguyen Thanh Cong) and Ngo Lan Huong, as well as a martial arts showcase by the acclaimed Korean Taekwondo National Team. Visitors can also enjoy traditional arts performances by both Vietnamese and Korean artists, K-pop cover dance shows, and energetic DJ sets.
Major Korean brands operating in Vietnam, such as CJ ENM, CGV, Kakao Friends, and Dook’n Dook’n, will join the festivities, adding to the event’s Hallyu appeal.
Beyond the stage, interactive zones will offer Hanbok try-ons, Korean handicraft displays, tourism promotions, and photo booths. Attendees can also take part in folk games from both countries.
Choi Seungjin, Director of the Korean Cultural Center in Vietnam, said the center has carefully curated joint performances and hands-on activities to deepen mutual understanding and strengthen bilateral friendship.
He added that more cultural exchange programmes will continue to be held in Ho Chi Minh City and across the country to further enhance Vietnam–Korea relations.
