Vietnam jumps eight notches in international beauty ranking
VOV.VN - Vietnam has moved up eight positions to 42nd in the grand slam ranking for beauty over the past two years, announced international beauty site Globalbeauties.
The ranking, the first of its kind, is based on the various achievements of national representatives to major international beauty contests, including Miss Universe, Miss World, Miss International, Miss Grand International, and Miss Supranational.
Notable names include Nguyen Thuc Thuy Tien, Miss Grand International 2021, Do Thi Ha, a Top 13 finisher at Miss World 2021, Nguyen Huynh Kim Duyen, a Top 16 finisher at Miss Universe 2021, Nguyen Tran Khanh Van, a Top 21 finisher at Miss Universe 2020, and Nguyen Le Ngoc Thao, a Top 20 finisher at Miss Grand International 2020.
With these achievements, Vietnam earned a total of 17,710 points and climbed to 42nd position, eight notches up from the 2019 ranking.
The United States topped the list with a total of 150,645 points, followed by Venezuela with 140,177 points, and the Philippines with 86,758 points.
