Vietnam in Top 15 of Missosology’s global beauty chart

The result is calculated from countries’ achievements across 5 pageants; Miss Universe, Miss World, Miss International, Miss Supranational, and Miss Earth.

In 2017 Vietnam sent representatives to each of the major world pageants. Ha Thu was among the Top 16 finalists in Miss Earth 2017, an achievement which brought Vietnam 112 points in the rankings.

Do My Linh was the winner of the Beauty with a Purpose competition in the Miss World pageant, a good result giving Vietnam another 60 points.

Khanh Phuong finished in the Top 25 of the Miss Supranational pageant, helping Vietnam gain 50 points in the global beauty ranking. 

The country secured the remaining 20 points after good performances from Vietnamese representatives in the Miss Universe and Miss International pageants this year.

Colombia topped the global beauty rankings of Missosology website with a total of 580 points. Colombian representatives had a very successful year of pageant results being runners-up in Miss Universe, Miss Supranational, and Miss Earth. This is the first time Colombia has secured the number one spot in the ranking.

Other countries making up the Top 10 are the Philippines, Venezuela, Thailand, South Africa, Australia, Indonesia, the Republic of Korea, Japan, and Jamaica.

Concurrently, the Global Beauties website has released its own global beauty ranking based on results from the Miss World, Miss Universe, Miss Grand International, Miss International, and Miss Supranational pageants.

Venezuela topped the list thanks to its strong performances this year; Top 5 finalists in Miss Universe, first runner-up in Miss Grand International, second runner-up in Miss International, and Top 40 in the Miss World pageant.

Vietnam ranked in 19th position, its best result being a Top 10 finalists place in the Miss Grand International pageant.
