Vietnam Fitness Model 2021 launched
VOV.VN - Young men and women from across the country have been encouraged to participate in the fourth iteration of Vietnam Fitness Model 2021, a national contest which will showcase local fitness enthusiasts.
The contest, running with the theme “The Cloud Hunters”, began to receive applications from April 8.
The national event is open to all Vietnamese citizens nationwide who have a deep passion for fashion and sports, especially fitness.
The top 40 contestants will progress to the final round, with the grand finale set to get underway on May 29 in Ho May tourist resort in Vung Tau city.
Winners will go on to represent Vietnam in future international beauty events.
Duy Quach, head of the Vietnam Fitness Model 2021’s organising board, said the contest is expected to encourage young people to participate in physical training, strengthen their health, and perfect their body, especially after the long period of social distancing imposed due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Vietnam Fitness Model was initially held in 2016, before running again in both 2017 and 2019 to find talents to participate in global pageants.
The two most outstanding faces of the contest were Ta Cong Phat, who clinched a Top 15 finish at Man of the World 2019, and Tuong Vy, who was named the winner of Miss Tourism World 2019. Both of them are the image ambassadors of Vietnam Fitness Model 2021.
