VOV.VN - Hanoi welcomed the start of the Vietnam Festival of Creativity and Design 2022 on August 16, with the event providing a platform for all individuals, groups, organisations, and businesses operating in creative fields across the country.
This year’s version is scheduled to get underway in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City from November 7 to November 20.
Participants will be given the chance to engage with each other and duly share their knowledge and skills for the cause of collective growth under the common goal of a creative product.
Each pair of two individuals, groups, organisations, and businesses operating in at least two different creative fields will collaborate to present their cultural and creative ideas which are in line with the topic of "Change for Sustainable Development".
A maximum of five pairs with the best potential ideas will be granted a budget of VND50 million from the organisers in order to continue developing their idea and joining in specialised workshops of the programme.
Most notably, the prototypes of each of the finalists will also be showcased at the Vietnam Festival of Creativity & Design in November this year.
The Vietnam Festival of Creativity and Design is being organised by RMIT University Vietnam in collaboration with the UN Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), the Vietnam National Institute of Culture and Arts Studies (VICAS), COLAB Vietnam, and other partners, with Hanoi Grapevine operating as media partner.
This year marks the scheme’s fourth edition, creating a playground to connect, challenge, and pushing local Vietnamese talents to go beyond their creative capacity.
