Vietnam enters top 15 of Miss Asia-Pacific Int’l beauty contest

Vietnamese contestant Truong Tung Lan was among the top 15 in the final round of the Miss Asia-Pacific International beauty contest held in Busan, the Republic of Korea (RoK), on October 15.
Lan, 1.70cm tall with measurements of 83-60-88, was also one of the top ten Miss Vietnam 2010 finalists. She graduated from Hanoi Open University and is now working as a model.
The contestant from the RoK was crowned Miss Asia-Pacific and first and second runners-up went to France and Russia, respectively.
Launched in 1968, Miss Asia Pacific International is the oldest international beauty pageant in Asia. This year it attracted more than 70 contestants from countries and territories across the world.
