Vietnam drops two spots in latest FIFA world rankings
(VOV) - Despite a positive showing for the month, the Vietnam national football team has slipped in FIFA’s latest World Rankings.
Coach Miura’s men dropped two places to 138th and Vietnam now places 21st overall in Asia and 2nd in Southeast Asia.
The Philippines continues to lead Southeast Asia. Thailand ranks third in the region.
There was no change in the top 5 of the world’s rankings. Germany tops the list followed by Argentina, Colombia, Belgium and the Netherlands.
The top three in Asia are Japan, Iran and the Republic of Korea, in that order.
