Vietnam Day in Moscow - cultural rendezvous of Vietnamese and international students

VOV.VN - The fourth ‘Vietnam Day at the Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MGIMO)” held on April 5 with various activities, drawing a number of Vietnamese and international students of the MGIMO and other universities in Moscow.

The program opened with a roundtable talks on the role of youth in enhancing Russia-Vietnam relations with the participation of famous researchers in Vietnam and ASEAN, MGIMO lecturers as well as Vietnamese and international students. Discussions were focused on new global challenges facing Vietnamese youth and Russia-Vietnam cooperation, social and demographic changes in Southeast Asian countries and the role of Vietnam, and youth – the key force in the Fourth Industrial Revolution in Vietnam and Russia.

Visitors were attracted to Vietnam handicraft products sold at a souvenir fair, the photo exhibition “Vietnam through youth’s eyes”, art performances and an introduction of Vietnamese traditional dishes.

The Moscow annual event is a cultural rendezvous of Vietnamese and international students. It has left a deep impression on international friends about Vietnamese students who are studious and active in promoting Vietnam’s land, people and culture. They also serve a bridge to help international friends gain a better understanding about Vietnam, consolidating friendly ties between Vietnam and the international community.
