Vietnam among Top 10 in international beauty ranking
VOV.VN- Vietnam has been listed among the Top 10 "Country of the Year 2023" ranking, as announced by international beauty site All For The Crowns.
The "Country of the Year 2023" ranking is based on the various achievements of national representatives at six major beauty contests, including Miss World, Miss Universe, Miss Supranational, Miss International, Miss Earth, and Miss Grand International.
Last year witnessed several Vietnamese beauties contribute to the nation’s overall success, marking several milestones in terms of international beauty.
They include Le Hoang Phuong, who was named fourth runner up of Miss Grand International 2023 and won the title Miss Best National Costume; Dang Thanh Ngan, who won the fourth runner-up title at Miss Supranational 2023; Nguyen Phuong Nhi, who clinched a Top 15 finish at the Miss International 2023; and Le Nguyen Ngoc Hang, who was named the second runner-up at the Miss Intercontinental 2023.
The country still has a chance of increasing its rankings as there are two other beauty pageants, including Miss World and Miss Earth that are yet to have finished.
Peru is currently first in the ranking, followed by Colombia and the Philippines.
This comes after the nation was placed ninth position in the grand slam ranking for beauty this year, as announced by international beauty site Globalbeauties.
