Vibrant street carnival stirs excitement among Hanoi crowds

VOV.VN - A street carnival was held on the walking streets around Ho Guom, also known as Sword Lake, in Hanoi on May 19, with thousands of on-looking Hanoians and visitors enjoying the enthusiastic displays.

The event marks the second time that Hanoi has hosted a street carnival.
The parade started from Ly Thai To statue and saw more than 80 Vietnamese and international artists march 2 km around Ho Guom.
A team of drummers and dancers worked hard to create a bustling atmosphere whilst pausing in two spots on Dinh Tien Hoang street and the Hang Khay-Hai Ba Trung intersection.
The foreign artists involved in the carnival brought their thrilling art performances to the streets of Hanoi.
Despite the extreme heat the artists showed their enthusiasm and love for street art during the performance.
