Vibrant street carnival stirs excitement among Hanoi crowds

VOV.VN - A street carnival was held on the walking streets around Ho Guom, also known as Sword Lake, in Hanoi on May 19, with thousands of on-looking Hanoians and visitors enjoying the enthusiastic displays.
The event marks the second time that Hanoi has hosted a street carnival. |
The parade started from Ly Thai To statue and saw more than 80 Vietnamese and international artists march 2 km around Ho Guom. |
A team of drummers and dancers worked hard to create a bustling atmosphere whilst pausing in two spots on Dinh Tien Hoang street and the Hang Khay-Hai Ba Trung intersection. |
The foreign artists involved in the carnival brought their thrilling art performances to the streets of Hanoi. |
Despite the extreme heat the artists showed their enthusiasm and love for street art during the performance. |

The street carnival was held between 9am and 11am in the morning and 4pm and 6pm in the afternoon during the weekend. |
