Venezuelan citizens receive introduction to Vietnamese ice cream
VOV.VN - “Kem Ha Noi” or Helado Ha Noi made its debut recently at Heladería 1000 sabores ice cream store in Mérida state in Venezuela.
At a recent ceremony aimed at introducing the Hanoi ice cream product, Vietnamese Ambassador to Venezuela Le Viet Duyen said that through the friendly ties between the two countries, a closer relationship is expected to be promoted through the event.
The taste of the ice cream is made from green beans, a typical ingredient in Vietnamese cuisine, the Ambassador stressed, adding that the product is created by skillful artisans from the capital.
The ceremony also saw Ambassador Duyen grant a certificate to Isbellis Da Silva, the owner of the ice cream store.
Da Silva shared that Vietnamese ice cream boasts a delicious taste of green beans and coconut milk, which reminds Venezuelan people of the hospitality of locals in Hanoi.
Ice cream store Heladería 1000 sabores is renowned in Venezuela as it has twice won the Guinness record for the highest number of ice cream flavors in the world in 1991 and 1996.
