Variety show gathers Vietnam’s biggest stars
A Gala night gathering big stars from across Vietnam will be held on September 26, 2017 in Hanoi to mark the 60th founding anniversary of the Vietnam Stage Artists Association and welcome Vietnam's Stage Day (which falls on the 12th day of the eighth lunar month).
The show will feature a wide range of performances, including comedy, drama, circus, tuong (Vietnamese classical drama), cai luong (reformed theatre), and more.
Big names in Vietnamese showbiz, such as People’s Artists Hoang Dung, Hong Van, Lan Huong, Tu Long, Hue royal performance singer Ngoc Binh, Meritorious Artists Hoai Linh, Thu Huyen, Xuan Bac, along with others, will introduce some of their greatest works.
Two Guinness record-holding circus artists Quoc Co and Quoc Nghiep will also perform.
‘Vietnam theatre stars Gala’ will be directed by People’s Artist Thuy Mui, a famous Vietnamese Cheo artist and director of the Hanoi Cheo Theatre. It is taking place at Hanoi’s Friendship Cultural Palace.
