V-concert to welcome the New Year

The V-concert will be held for the second year at the Hanoi Opera House on January 1 to celebrate the 2019 New Year.

The concert is a classical music event aims to bring world masterpieces performed by local and foreign artists to Vietnamese audience.

The concert will be conducted by Japanese conductor Honna Tetsuji with the mix of traditional music. Honna Tetsuji is a successful conductor in Europe with many prestigious awards. He is also invited to perform at many events in the world.

Harp player Aya Matsumoto will participate in this year event. She graduated from Tokyo College of Music and has performed in Germany and the US. Vietnamese singers Dinh Trang, Dao To Loan and young violinist Do Phuong Nhi, who won first prize at the Sparre Olsen competition for young talent in Norway, will also perform at V-concert.

The concert will be held at 8 pm on January 1 at the Hanoi Opera House and will be live on Channel VTC3.
