US singer Kelly Clarkson to perform at Miss Vietnam pageant
(VOV) -American pop star Kelly Clarkson arrived in Ho Chi Minh City on December 1 to prepare for a special performance at the final round of the 2014 Miss Vietnam national beauty pageant on December 6.
Her presence will be a highlight of the event which honours the beauty of Vietnamese girls at Vinpearl Phu Quoc in Phu Quoc island district in Kien Giang province.
Kelly Clarkson was accompanied by her husband and daughter, a music band, and make-up specialists.
In 2002 Clarkson rose to fame after winning the first season of American Idol, and has since been established as “The Original American Idol”.
According to Vo Do Minh Hoang, representative of Viet Vision Company, Kelly Clarkson’s manager in Vietnam, the pop star is very friendly with permanent smiles.
Clarkson will have a meeting with the press and arrive at Vinpearl Phu Quoc on December 2 to prepare for her performance.
