Unique Tò he pictures in Hanoi

VOV.VN - Xuan La craft village in Phuong Duc commune, Phu Xuyen District, Hanoi is famous for unique Tò he (toy figurine) pictures.

Tò he (toy figurine) is a traditional toy for children in Vietnam which is made from glutinous rice powder in form of edible figurine such as animals, flowers or characters in folk stories. 




Those Tò he (toy figurine) pictures has been created by artisans in Xuan La craft village since 2013.


Pictures tells legendary stories. 

Chu Van Chien, an artisan in Xuan La craft village, is completing his artwork.
“It takes several months to get a picture done,” he shares.









Artisans Chu Van Chien and Nguyen Van Ta introduce their Tò he pictures at a Tet fair 2016.
