Ukraine, Vietnam deepen cross cultural awareness
(VOV) -The Vietnam Embassy in Ukraine recently held an exchange with 50 teachers and students in Kremenchuk City, Poltava province to introduce Vietnam’s land, culture and its people to local residents.
Vietnam Ambassador to Ukraine Nguyen Minh Tri expressed his hope that the exchange would contribute to deepen mutual understanding and the ties of friendship between Vietnam and Ukraine.
During the exchange, embassy staff introduced the history, culture, education, customs and landscapes of Vietnam to local teachers and students. In addition, local teachers and students shared stories about their homeland country and performed Ukrainian folk dances.
At the event, Director of Kremenchug Center for International Relations and Economic Development Andrey Melnuk highlighted the exchange as a good way to help young people understand Vietnam better.
