U19 squad readies for AFF U19 Youth Champs
(VOV) -The Vietnam U19 football team is set to compete at the 2015 ASEAN Football Federation (AFF) U19 Youth Championship that runs August 22 to September 4.
For this year’s tournament 12 teams will be divided into two groups to be determined by draw to take place later this spring.
U19 Vietnam will again face off with tough opponents from Thailand, Myanmar and Australia.
It is an opportunity for Vietnamese players to win a first-place title after finishing runner-up at the two previous U19 Youth Championships in 2013 and 2014.
