Tuong Linh unveils evening gowns for Miss Intercontinental 2017

VOV.VN - Vietnamese representative Tuong Linh has showcased the evening gowns she will wear for the grand finale of the Miss Intercontinental 2017 pageant.

The grand finale is set for 12am on January 24 (Vietnam time) at Sunrise Garden Beach Resort, Hurghada, Egypt. 70 contestants from around the world will compete in the event. Vietnamese beauty Tuong Linh is fully prepared for the important night.

According to the event schedule, contestants will perform in national costumes, swimsuits, and evening gown contests before the Top 15 finalists are announced.

Contestants will be divided into regional groups for their performances, with 3 contestants from each group advancing to the Top 15 finalists: Asia and Oceania, Europe, Africa, North America, and South America.

Vietnam’s representative is in with a good chance of entering the Top 15 finalists, based on the results of a poll for the most popular contestant.

Tuong Linh recently surpassed the contestants from Paraguay, Brazil, and the Philippines to lead the poll with 300,000 votes.

In recent days, the organizing board and judge of Miss Intercontinental 2017 assessed Tuong Linh as one of the 3 strongest Asian contestants at the pageant this year.

Although she has many strong rivals from India, the Philippines, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, and the Republic of Korea, Tuong Linh said she feels comfortable and will make her best effort to perform at the highest level in the grand finale.

She has posed for a photoshoot displaying the evening gowns by designer Le Thanh Hoa, which she will wear for the grand finale. The designs are inspired by images of fire, bringing a renewal of life and hope.
