Tung Duong receives 5th Dedication Award
Singer Tung Duong has won the Cong Hien (Dedication) Award for the fifth time.
At the awards ceremony held in Ho Chi Minh City on April 22, he was chosen as Singer of the Year.
Duong’s last December live show, the first after eight years of singing, was highly praised by both audiences and critics.
He has taken part in many musical performances including Khong Gian Am Nhac (Music Space), Que Nha (Homeland), Dem Giai Nhan (Night of the Beauties).
Meanwhile, the titles Album of the Year and Musician of the Year were conferred on My Linh and Anh Quan, respectively.
Linh was extremely happy with the award as her album Toc Ngan Acoustic-Mot Ngay which had taken her five years to complete.
The remaining Programme of the Year title went to Ho Ngoc Ha with her live concert.
Participants in the event also enjoyed other songs of different genres performed by famous singers, namely Nguyen Thao, Nguyen Hai Phong, Thu Minh, Le Cat Trong Ly and the Luala symphony orchestra.
