Thuy Tien displays national costume at Miss Grand International
VOV.VN - Nguyen Thuc Thuy Tien, the Vietnamese representative at Miss Grand International 2021, wowed audiences on November 30 during the national costume segment of the global pageant.
The local beauty wore an outfit themed “Blue Angel” by designer Tin Thai which draws inspiration from the protective gear worn by frontline workers in the COVID-19 fight.
The highlight of the outfit includes two wings and an image of gloves which shows the great determination of people around the world to fully beat off the SARS-CoV-2 virus.
By wearing the costume, the Vietnamese beauty wished to send a message of thanks to healthcare workers who have spent nearly two years working tirelessly to control the spread of the pandemic.
One day earlier, Thuy Tien led a fans’ vote in the Best in Swimsuit segment.
Thuy Tien, 23, has measurements of 83-62-92 and was among the Top 5 contestants in Miss Vietnam 2018.
Miss Grand International 2021’s semi-final night and grand final are scheduled to get underway in Thailand on December 2 and 4, respectively. Back in 2020, Vietnamese beauty Ngoc Thao secured a Top 20 at the contest.
