Thuy Hang awarded second runner-up title at Miss Friendship International 2023
VOV.VN - Vietnamese representative Nong Thuy Hang was named the second runner-up during the final night of the Miss Friendship International 2023 pageant held in China on October 28.
The 24-year-old beauty of the Tay ethnic group entered the Top 6 of the talent sub-contest after performing the song “Chúng tôi chào đón bạn” (We welcome you) in three languages - Vietnamese, English, and Chinese.
Hang stands at 1.7 metres tall and weighs 52 kg. She graduated from National Economics University in Hanoi and was crowned Miss Ethnic Vietnam 2022. At present, she works as a model, emcee, and actress.
Miss Friendship International is hosted by China to promote friendship and different cultures between participating nations. After three years of postponement due to the COVID-19 pandemic, this year the beauty pageant took place in Chengdu, drawing the participation of 58 contestants from across the world.
Chin Zhu Zhi Ying of China was crowned Miss Friendship International 2023.
The first runners-up spots went to the representatives of Brazil and Poland.
The second runner-up titles were awarded to beauties from the Czech Republic, France, and Vietnam.
