Thu Thao competes at Miss International 2014
(VOV) - Winner of the 2014 Miss Vietnam Ocean beauty contest Dang Thu Thao left Vietnam on October 27 for the 2014 Miss International pageant in Japan.
Earlier, the 17-year-old girl from the Mekong Delta city of Can Tho had worked with Vietnamese well-known fashion designer Vo Viet Chung and a stylish team to select dresses.
They decided to choose Ao Dai (traditional long dress), which is very impressive to foreigners. Thao will wear Ao Dai in various activities of Miss International pageant, including bazaar charity nights and press conferences.
The 2014 Miss International pageant will be the 54th edition of the Miss International pageant held on November 11, 2014 at Grand Prince Hotel Takanawa in Tokyo, Japan.
Bea Santiago of the Philippines will crown her successor at the end of the event.
