Thu Minh wins Best Asian Artist award
(VOV) -Vietnamese pop star Thu Minh has honoured with won the Best Asian Artisttitle at the 2013 Mnet Asian Music Awards (MAMA).
The announcement was made at Hong Kong Asia World Expo Arena on November 22.
Thu Minh could not attend the award ceremony as she is currently touring Russia.
In a video message, Minh effusively expressed her debt of gratitude to audiences for their support.
The MAMAs, first held in 1999, is one of the three most prestigious Republic of Korean music awards. A wide variety of Asian celebrities attend every year.
Vietnamese singer My Tam also won the same award at the 2012 MAMAs.
