Thousands of pilgrims flock to Tran Temple for seal opening ceremony

VOV.VN - Thousands of pilgrims flocked to Tran Temple in the northern province of Nam Dinh on the night of March 1 (the 14th day of the first lunar month) to attend the seal opening ceremony.

  1. The seal opening ceremony is held at Tran temple historical relic in Loc Vuong ward, Nam Dinh city on March 1, attracting a large number of residents and visitors.
  1. Tran temple festival is held on February 26 - March 3. This year, the seal opening ceremony takes place at 11:30pm on March 1.
  1. Representatives from local authorities attend the seal opening ceremony.
  1. Secretary of the Nam Dịnh provincial Party Committee Doan Hong Phong offers incense at the event.
  1. A large number of news reporters are present to cover the event.

  1. A palanquin procession held prior to the seal opening ceremony.

  1. 120 people representing different strata in Tuc Mac village, Loc Vuong ward, Nam Dinh province participate in the ritual.


  1. Thousands of pilgrims flock to the temple for the seal opening ceremony that night.
After the ceremony, barriers were removed allowing visitors to enter the temple to offer incense.


  1. People flock to Thien Truong temple to pray for health, good fortune and happiness.
