Third annual Vietnamese Cultural Fest opens in London

VOV.VN -On March 21, the Vietnamese Society at the University College London opened its third annual cultural festival with more than1,000 students and faculty members in attendance.

Sponsored by the Vietnam Embassy with activities taking place throughout the academic year, the event aims to introduce Vietnamese culture to accent the diversity of the student population.

Entry to all performances and other events are provided free of charge and paid for by the Vietnam Embassy.

At the opening, authentic Vietnamese restaurants in London serve bubble tea and other traditional foods endorsed by British chef Gordon Ramsay at the UCL Main Quad Pavilion.

While dining, guests have the opportunity to enjoy cultural performances introducing an instrumental mix of traditional and modern Vietnamese song, dance and music.

There are also arts and handicraft stalls at the Front Quad Marquee along with a photo exhibition that showcase images of Vietnam, past and present.
