Thanh Ngan to vie for Miss Supranational 2023 crown
VOV.VN - Dang Thanh Ngan was announced on May 5 as the Vietnamese representative at the Miss Supranational 2023 pageant which is scheduled to take place in Poland in July.
Ngan, 24, stands at 1.75 metres tall, weighs 55kg, and has body measurement of 85-60-95cm.
The Soc Trang native has previous experience competing in beauty pageants after being awarded the second runner-up title at Miss Ocean Vietnam 2017.
She now works as a model and an actress based in Ho Chi Minh City.
Miss Supranational represents one of the most prestigious beauty contest in the world, alongside Miss World, Miss Universe, Miss International, and Miss Earth.
Miss Supranational 2023 will be the 14th edition of the global pageant. Lalela Mswane of South Africa will crown her successor at the grand final, which is set to be held in Poland on July 14.
So far a total of 55 contestants worldwide have been confirmed to be competing in the global pageant.
Last year Nguyen Huynh Kim Duyen of Can Tho achieved the best results of any Vietnamese ever at Miss Supranational by claiming the second runner-up title in the 2022 version of the world pageant.
