Thai women triumph at Ha Long beach volleyball
Thailand’s team won the 2014 Asian Women’s Beach Volleyball Tournament, which was wrapped up in Ha Long city, the northern coastal province of Quang Ninh on April 27.
Australia were the runners-up, while New Zealand came third at the three-day event.
As part of the Ha Long-Quang Ninh Tourism Week 2014, this year’s event attracted 14 teams from Japan, China, Thailand, New Zealand, Kazakhstan, Australia and hosts Vietnam.
The annual event forms part of the formal competition system of the Asian Beach Volleyball Confederation.
